Everyone worth listening to in the pms space (Maloney, Morgan, etc) has been consistent in their assertion that silver is more volatile than gold and will have bigger price moves when they occur - but note that this will necessarily mean bigger moves to the downside as well.
Also the GSR is still stupidly high so Maloney basically only stacks silver atm. I could see a case for swapping S for G when GSR gets to around 40 or lower (which is what an actual long term trend would be for the 20thC, picrel) but at the moment having gold is only worthwhile as a diversifier.
