I don't understand how that NASDAQ rebalance works. Can someone explain it to me? Will that make the big companies like Apple and Microsoft dump a bit so their weight is not more than 15%, all while it makes the smaller ones pump? If so, it doesn't change the index points, but how is it fair for those holding these companies individually? And if it doesn't make them dump or pump, what black magic is at play?
