Also no one's mentioned the most obvious thing yet - link is also SERGEY, & you could tell as soon as you heard him talk that link is the future. This board has not only been obsessed with link, but with Sergey himself. We might make fun of his weight, but we were his biggest fans long before anyone else was paying attention to link. There would always be some anon at any of his talks who would live stream it for biz, and there'd always be like 80 people + watching. Just imagine in mid 2018 when everything has crashed & no one is paying any attention to cryoyo. Sergey gives a talk with like 20 people in the audience (if that if we're honest), but then there's some anon in the front row filming it on his phone & 80 mistfit neets all watching and hanging on sergeys every word. No other project had that kind of deluded and dedicated following, & Sergey must have been thankful for it in the early days. Another anecdote - one night some anon made a thread asking everyone which brand of shirt sergey wears. Cue wesponised autism. It was found to be a certain brand being sold on Amazon, and anons subsequently bought out the entire stock. Which other project has generated such levels of autism?

Asia is starting to come into 2021, so in what timezone is the lucky bros that is going to experience link at 1000$? look at this room he is talking in. There are probably just 7 people in the audience. Sergey might not like all the memes, but his relationship with us has to be complex cause he can't help but appreciate having an army of autists hanging on his every word, even when it might have felt like no one in the rest of the world was paying attention. At least at first, I'm sure he was grateful to have 80+ people watching on an unauthorized live stream when there was just a few stragglers in the audience
