>If it is just a "means of laundering"

Its way more than just a "means of laundering." But it is definitely the best means of laundering other coins.

>then why would it outperform BTC in terms of price and adoption?

Actual utility and demand ensuring it doesn't drop to zero when the crypto bubble finally pops.

Bitcoin can't compete with PayPal on the clearnet, can't compete with Monero on the darknet and is now forcing the "digital gold" meme for its last stand.

>It will just be used for one thing - crime.

Monero's future growth is projected to come primarily from organized crime adoption, not mainstream normie or institutional adoption.

>I simply expect that the black market won't account for more than 25% of the market cap. I expect closer to 1,000,000-2,000,000% than 25,000-250,000%.

The SG report estimates that the majority of Monero's future growth will come from what they call "unlawful activities" i.e. organized crime adoption.

Whether we like it or not, OC is what will make Monero a household name and send it to Mars.
