Funny you mention palmistry, I just did a reading on the markets, since I said I would try to do it on sunday or friday, a few weeks ago.

>Subject (Markets)
Five of Cups: "A card of loss, but something remains". Suggests inheritance, transmission, or perhaps success but with frustration.

>Context
Six of Cups: A card of "memories of the past". For example, reflecting on childhood, enjoyment, and things that have vanished, though some readings reverse this. The inverted card suggests renewal and the future.

>Event
Temperance: Suggests economy, moderation, frugality, management, accommodation

>Action
The Chariot (rev): Suggests riotous action, quarrels, disputes, litigation, and defeat

>Outcome
Ace of Swords: Suggests triumph by force or excess, conquest, extremes.

I think it accurately sums up the markets. What are the odds that I'd pull two cards in that configuration for the subject and context? We just had a bad year and long bear market, and everyone seems divided as to whether it's over or if it hasn't even begun, and the ambiguous nature of the Six of Cups' placement aligns with that. It doesn't even say whether this reading is for the past or future.
It seems that frugality or accommodation (perhaps Fed rates?) will lead to "defeat" or upset on the markets, perhaps capitulation from bears or bulls, with the outcome being a "force of triumph", which I take to read as the Fed overdoing it. But who the fuck knows, this is as accurate as trading with [thing I don't like]
