im actually living with my parents and it takes a lot of self control to avoid all the creature comforts. gained a good amount of weight the last few years and im really looking to connect with the outside world again. i never considered using a gym membership to work out as well as for a shower lol. just looking to do this temporarily to help remove my conditioning away from feeling stagnant and tired all the time

I think what that dude meant is that Brooklyn and Queens are technically a part of New York City, just like Bronx and Staten Island. But you're not wrong, everyone who lives in those Boroughs calls the island of Manhattan "the city" which i always do cuz thats where all the skyscrapers and shit are
