Silver on it's way to becoming an extinct commodity in the future because of the way silver is used in industry :)

If nothing else, it's a store of REAL assets, Schlomo. The joos have manipulated the price so low for so long so they can play their paper games, plus keep it low for industry joos in order to enslave us with cheap electronics. That shit's coming to an end though, rabbi shekelstein. you'll be employable though to dig through the landfills for old circuit boards to recycle minute bits of PMs, at a time the prices won't be for nice.

Based on the rate that it is mined, GSR should be 1:8, right? Now consider how many more industrial uses silver has compared to gold. Silver is essential to more patents than all other metals combined.

>Will the government attempt to nationalize the silver mines
If it threaten either the economic stability of the country or threaten to disrupt the industrial capacities of big corp, i've no doubts about it.
Or at least the gubment will force you to sell back your shares at a fixed price to become the majority shareholder and have a say to whom the production is sold to. Protip : it will be sold to the gubment, and the rest to big corpos depending on how hard they lobbyed the politicians.

And i believe so because how inelastic the silver production is. By-product production is fix, you can't move it. A copper/zinc/lead mine wont produce 3 times more copper in hope to find few more silver oz. It already count for 70% of the silver production who is not only fix, but have diminishing returns.

So only remain silver miners, the most underfinanced, undervalued, under equipped, under everything sector you can imagine. So few capitals coming from the stock market that they can't afford any debt, must have cash ready in hand and can declare bankruptcy for about any problem they face. They have been starved to death by comex' price fixing, they are skeleton sized operations.
If we ask them to suddently produce even just x3, it will take years before the demand can be met. They are so goddamn tiny...
No formed personnel availible.
No equipment availible.
No permits.
Not even any new big deposit found. The last large silver deposit found was in inner mongolia back in 2018.
Even if you drown them in cash, you don't transform a tiny 100 employes mine into a giant miner like that.
And there isn't any deposit large enough (in the B oz) left on earth to justify a giant mine. At best you would have plenty of tiny operations all around excavating stuff from old XIXc abandonned mines and the like.

I ordered a tube of Krugerrands a couple of days ago and tonight they're a dollar cheaper,s o I've eaten $24 and not even touched them yet. The people who keep saying it's going to moon tomorrow, and have been the month I've paid attention, are full of shit. A lot of them are interested in keeping people buying silver to accomplish the main mission, crashing the COMEX. I fully expect silver to get back to $20/oz at some point, maybe this summer. But again, I'm buying with every spare dime in case it doesn't, and actually does go up significantly. Worst case is I lose a third of my investment and only my descendants see any real gains after I'm dead, but there's worse things I could be buying. You just don't know. No one does for sure. Spend what you want to, if you do, just don't cut yourself short on anything important, food, tuition, books, etc. PMs are volatile, but again worst case is I eat one third of my investment. I doubt it though, and even if so it'll be for short time that I won't be selling, so no loss at all. It may moon in a few years too, as picrel is a real thing. When the mines are producing less than demand, we're going to have to recycle it from landfills and that won't be cheap, not at all. You won't get hurt at current prices except for maybe a few months, but just don't sell then and no loss at all.

How is silver risky when modern tech requires so much of it? Gold just sits around while silver is being used by every industry.

>if you wanted to back the silver that is being traded today on the comex and such it would take 170+ years of mining
Wow and silver is already almost depleted since it is a surface metal and has been easily mined almost completely from the earth's crust
