At the height of peak euphoria where any coin is likely to crash under its own gains, and while bitcoin started committing suicide, two validator nodes that contain over 33% of the delegators (us) went down, triggering the built-in failsafe: which is if 33% of the validators go down, network stops. This halted the network for 8 hours which caused people to bail.
Good news is, everything went according to plan system wise, and with governance votes we can change certain aspects so this can never happen again. The project moves moves forward.
Bad news is, temporary gains are halted, we now enter bleed/crab territory until the next catalyst. We are no longer decoupled from papa bitcoin, and faith has been shaken.
