Please do fren, I thought I'd seen it all doing my scrapping but if there are rhodium plate dishes out there too then my interest is amply piqued. Be sure to look for rhodium plated jewelry while out hunting, with your apparent luck you're sure to find some.

Hello fren, and no unfortunately that isn't currently an acceptable price. Look for the most recently listed Buy it Now sterling items in the Antiques category, refresh periodically, and you'll frequently find stuff for well under $0.70/g. If it's a very attractive/rare and appealing piece that's different, but as bullion you should never pay above melt for sterling items and ideally pay well below melt.

Alright, mailman brought some scrap today. The 7 weighted candle holders should yield pretty well, cost $86 total. Will report back later and share yield/brand info after breaking them down.
