I work in a similar money-management type role (far too niche for me to mention here) and at the start I would take so much longer to so things because they didn't come to me naturally. With time this becomes second nature and takes up much less of your thinking power, which you can spend doing the things you enjoy. Just collect the pay, invest and retire early.
