I hold canadian pacific kansas city (ticker CP) cause it fits a multidecade hold matching my thesis. I don't see how retail can game a lot of tech stocks and find decent long term growers. The environment changed and old fashioned banking and financial institutes aren't needed for newer tech "growth" companies compared to the dotcom bubble, there's already whale tech companies from the past 2 decades that can run their own investment games and be capital providers. Here's something I noticed, 3d printer manufacturer "desktop metal" has alphabet inc on its list of larger holders. Politics aside I think the ESG blackrock thing was just old players from the 20th century trying to keep clients that are now going to bank of google or bank of amazon.

In the red a little bit today but not even a tenth a percent. Beating the SP500, nasdaq, and dow is a good day. All you have to do is buy the unpopular things with fair value and long term growth and ignore the tech delusion in a high interest rate early to mid point of recession stage in market cycle. Everybody wanna be a bodybuilder aint nobody wanna lift no heavy ass weight.

I'll be real with you donald, elon musk was a real bro when I was president. Smoking weed with him when I went out to california to see his projects and discuss subsidies was a time I'll never forget. But in all honesty elon is a poor businessman, a great standup hype man but not a real elbow grease salesman like steve jobs or aggressive business builder like gates or bezos. Tesla can grow more but it has a lot of work ahead of itself to justify its very high marketcap. There is also a lot of loyal customers to auto brands outside of tesla. I just don't see tesla stopping them. I also don't see the appeal of a megacap like tesla not offering premium dividends, JNJ apple microsoft coca cola the list goes on of alternatives I'd rather park money in to collect dividends if I'm holding a company with a very high marketcap. Maybe I'd buy tesla in a few years after the nasdaq corrects and money flows away from hype.

META has potential for sure donald, but lets be real here. Zuckerberg blew more cash on his metaverse in a few months in 2022 then I did in 8 years on drones and drone strikes. Making a 3d world that is mainstream and consumer friendly like a matured facebook is quite a bit harder then making a facebook in 2004. People are fatigued on screens and you cant just force a metaverse, smartphones worked with apple because it was properly executed by marketing savvy individuals and integrated into societal culture. Zuck cant do it alone I feel. Now, for fourth place I have amazon. They are a solid company with AWS but management is weak compared to microsoft and apple. Consumer goods they sell are also discretionary leaning, walmart and dollar store brands have advantages over amazon in this space.
