Kek I think the whole telecom meltdown over the lead cables is overblown. The companies installed them with the safety inspections/laws dealing with that kinda thing at the time. So you can't go "Whoops hey lets sue cause they cause my hair loss" decades later when newer tests may show perhaps those cables were not made that good after all. It's a legal farce. It's not like the Tobacco company who knew the product was a killer and still sold it anyway. Or like Ford. You can't sue them for driving a 1980 era shat box with zero airbags when you have an accident. Cause they (Ford) weren't required to put them in till the mid 90s.

Might jack my 401k contributions another 5%. Already jacked it 5% already but once I get my pay raise end of the month and see just what I've got to work with I may hike it again. Also gonna hike my emergency fund contribution 20%. Since 2020 I've jacked my 401k contributions 93.3% counting the hike I may do soon. (My pension has also shot up insanely to)
