Now that I think of it, crypto really is just the dotcom bubble for millennials. All those useless domains in web 1.0, gen xers getting rich because they made "x.com" and shit like that, then bust. But the difference is that where the dotcom bubble popped in 2000 and stayed popped, crypto popped in 2014, came back in 2017, popped again, came back in 2020, popped again and seems primed for another run soonly.

Wouldn't it be a terrible idea to do this? I can understand savings being in the tens of thousands in your 20s/30s but when you're in your 40s you should probably have a wife and kids and a mortgage and some shared investments you can use as 'savings' rather than just leaving money in your bank to get raped by inflation.
