I think it comes down to opportunity cost. After XRP moons, it will be time to diversify some of the related projects like FLR, ALGO, and so on.

I hate XRP as much as anyone here, but...

There's little denying that it's going to explode in value over the past couple of days. People have been selling out of it like crazy in order move into BTC, but it has held its value nicely. Once BTC hits 20k in the next week, XRP will explode and will easily be at $3-$5.
