Because once everyone who wants to stake has staked, there is no new money flowing into the system. Thus they make a new currency and money printer go brrr but vUSD & vETH DONT neccessarily have volume, value or recognition in the community (on top of the sketchy fundamentals of the real USD & ETH they are currently based on).

Go ask the FED equivalent of Venezuela “How can a Bolivar have no value when you literally have to own it if you want to buy Venezuelan bonds?”
