if you don't have sta and you plan to pool, easiest way is probably to wrap ether on balancer and feed it into to pool here:

to wrap ether just connect your wallet to balancer, click the wallet icon, then "wrap to weth"

to feed it into the pool, click "add liquidity" then "single asset"
