i'm still convinced there is more than enough resources for the current and future growth rate. the earth is massive and securing food and water is still feasible, but the reason we feel overpopulated is our money is just worthless, and boomers realized this so they bought a boatload of assets (like real-estate whether they need them or not) just to secure their wealth and combat inflation.

also, automation concentrates the wealth in the hands of a few CEOs that make more money that they can spend in a lifetime while giving workers scraps because they're only important for maintaining the automated factory
