Yeah so I trade futures and I came up with a new strategy a week or so ago and today was the first test. Shit actually worked out pretty well. I was able to go in on /MNQ at the bottom with 5 contracts. It's a combination trend following and reversion to the mean strat. Basically I trend follow normally with a stop loss under the current channel but I have a buy set just above the bottom of the channel for those times like today where we get a big dip but not quite big enough to stop me out. If I get the buy and it goes back up then I make money. If I get the buy and then stop out I end up losing very little cuz I was gonna stop out anyway. I'm up 3600 bucks since earlier today
