Coinstar doesn't even bother to keep and sort silver, and just rejects it. That's how I keep building my junk stack off and on. May be mostly silver dimes, but I'll always take free silver.

Constitutional is great fun, and if you're eagle-eyed, you can even add to that stack in your day-to-day business.

Pic related shows what I've managed to pick up for free since January 1 this year, just out of one Coinstar machine. All you have to do is be willing to check the coin return and around the machine when you pass by one. Silver coins (except war nickels) weigh outside of spec for the machine, and thus get kicked out (CoinStar machines are very picky about what they'll accept, and will kick coins back out for the slightest reason).

Constitutional with the modern appearance (Rosies, Washingtons, 64 Kennedys) can be good or bad, depending on your stacking purposes.
They're newer, and thus have higher silver content due to less wear, but could also be mistaken for the clad/fiat versions and rejected by the bottom half of the bell curve should they ever be needed for trade in a post-hyperinflation economy. It's easier to be able to get people to understand "old design == silver" than it is to get them to understand "before 1965 == silver", since the latter requires them to pay attention.
