Phase 0 - Beacon Chain = already delayed
Phase 1 - Sharding on Beacon Chain (No smart contracts) basically dummy data sharded so ETH POW still will have all functionality and rewards to support chain
Phase 2 - Sharding and Smart Contracts
Maybe when you reach Phase 2, you can drop difficulty bomb and phase out that chain but it'll likely be after Phase 2. Which means you have a 2 reward system for years. What do you think will happen to the price of ETH when it can't even support the current inflation and founders dumping?
