So I didn't do my crypto taxes last year due to confusion.
Also a pain in the ass due to all the exchanges I have accounts for. I hate these bitches. Like shitstain, you tax me to work (the FUCK??? nonsense BULLSHIT). You tax me when I buy shit. Now you want to tax me for risking MY money on investments?

Anyways, what are the consequences for doing them a year late? FYI it would have actually BENEFITED me last year due to losses from trading aka I qualified for tax harvesting. So what happened? Basically the software I used to calculate this shit did an asinine job with my margin accounts and didn't calculate my losses right. Because of that, I was like "FUCK that. I get the full loss bonus or fuck this piece of dogshit".
I was actually supposed to get taxed less this whole year working... could have had even more sats, but oh well.

Anyways, thinking of using h&r block this year. I'm just wondering if despite being OWED tax harvesting benefits from last year, do the mother fuckers take it away and instead will fine me (I expect nothing less from the retard government thieves)? Also, I margin trade still (cause I'm stupid). Am I going to get taxed on the btc? No, right? Since I'm not "cashing out" my btc even when shorting (I didn't do that often, but still)?
