If you are 18-25 years old my advice is the following:
Get a free checking account with $250 in it.
Cheap smart phone $79. Say from Tello.com with the $10 plan with limited minutes and data.
Put all/some rest of your money into a stock that pays dividends with reinvestment option.
OR
Put all/some rest of your money into various bitcoins on coinbase or other more selective vendor groups.

Join the military. Serious. 4 years, sign up but make sure you do get in with the best sign up bonus. Dont buy shit unless absolutely needed. Put $50/mo in checking and that's it. Put the rest of that money into coins or dividends stock if you have time to get to it.
Also for the love of god, dont get married while in or if you do dont let them have access to the accounts. By the time you get out you have a fortune, VA benefits, be in the best shape of your life and plenty of options of where to go.
