I haven't been impressed by a new piece of technology since the late 2000s. The pain of upgrading isn't worth a slightly incremental upgrade and I only buy new things when my old ones stop working.

The GBA is too small and low resolution to read text on. That is a potential reason to do it though. A Snes VN engine has much more potential to get popular. Viral marketing it would be fun, you could jerk off on CRT displays and leave obvious cum stains on the screen and make otherwise normal posts showing yourself playing it on real hardware.
