The Fed (i.e. the oligarchy) wants a wage/price spiral while bond yields are held below inflation and assets fall in nominal terms (easier to hold bonds negative in real terms if no other asset class gives even nominal returns) to pump government and corporate earnings to lower debt to income ratios (i.e. the only way you can actually "inflate away debt"). This also has the effect of "vesting" zoomers/millennials into the economy so they support the system for the next forty years AND rugging boomers so the system doesn't have to pay out on all those promises that kept the boomers working for the system for the last forty years. If you are a productive economic actor the recession will not only not hurt, but be beneficial, if you're a (non- oligarchical) parasite you'll be heemed hard
