tldr buy a trezor model T FROM THE OFFICIAL STORE. TREZOR WILL DELETE YOUR PURCHASE DATA AFTER 3 MONTHS AND YOU CAN BUY WITH MONERO. Also get a cryptosteel backup(cobo wallet plus is the cheapest one, i like them - the capsule ones from cryptosteel are bretty gud/10 too), or get metal plates and a stamping kit which is cheapest if you end up making multiple backups in the long run.

I have security concerns about the ledgers because they're very clearly built for normies and marketed towards normies. Their marketing actually is my biggest gripe. Your documentation is also bad and marketed towards normies. Just do a wiki like trezor ffs. Yeah I can find the serial in the device menus but I believe the only way to verify is contact support and they will probably tell me to get fucked. Its nice that you make me verify the firmware hash though. I was kind of surprised this part wasn't also hidden.
