Hi /pmg/, my first time here. I decided to start putting money for my son into precious metals - not for the sake of making huge profits, but rather protecting value over time. I have no idea what I'm doing, so any advice is welcome. I'm a yuropoor, so first investment is only around $4000 and I want to follow with around $200 each month and throw some extra when I can, so he has around $50000 when becomes 18.

>I currently want to split it silver: 50% - gold: 30% - platinum: 20% - how should I change this?
>I noticed that the bigger the bar you buy, the less you pay for a gram - should I just try to buy the biggest bars I can afford?
>Similar thing for coins (and even bars) - I noticed you buy the same physical amount of gold/silver but you pay a different price per gram depending on the specific coin - should I just buy the cheapest coins?
Any other tips? Thank you

Is there currently a single asset that is under-valued? No cryptoshit.
