So I have about $25k in SOXL right now which is up about 40% or $7,500. I just took $1,000 of profit out of it. Is there some relatively reliable way to calculate when/if to take out more profit or just outright sell the stack? Well damn, what happens now? Is this the new floor and we crab around for three months like we were just doing? Is this just the beginning of a pent up tech moon mission after a year of red? I see things dipping again around the next FOMC meeting and then eventually resuming a generally positive direction when it becomes more clear that a pause or rate cuts are coming and more companies post decent earnings and guidance

Why isn't SOXL up more from all this?

After following the stock market very closely for a few years I have determined that it is indeed complete bullshit that predictable monthly statistical disclosures cause the market to heave one direction or the other as if Big Money is genuinely caught off guard by information that they themselves generate
