That kind of answer just shows how little you know.

It will die of as the economics incentive to keep the system running keep on decreasing. Bitcoin is a economic system. It needs constant growth to survive. Continuation of Moore's law and a growing world economy are both needed to sustain the system. (Better mining hardware and growing amount of transaction).
BTC as a digital gold is basically dead money artificially prompted up by exchanges with tether as they keep manipulating the market for profit at the detriment of retail investors, a casino. Current model is unsustainable longterm.
Hear me up. If it wasn't for the massive sell-off coming up, the scheme would probably continue for a while with a btc averaging between 16k-4k, just enough to keep the miners and exchanges profitables. We are still in a bear market that started after BTC hit 20k, and we will be in a bear market until the end. No more bull market. It would've been a slow bleed if it wasn't for the massive sell-off.

Mainly for truth. The current cryptomarket is one massive lie. Vitalik has been saying for a long time ETH doesn't scale, yet it's still going, but going no where. 99% of projects were blatant scams. BTC the biggest scam of them all. The reason this shit is still up and running is because the government is a slow piece of shit when it comes to this stuff, but 99% of this market is criminal activity and the gov will catch up. To answer your question more specifically, legal competing chain owns massive amount.

Ahem

*Coughs*

WE HAVE TO CLIMB BY 2100 POINTS ON THE DOW TO BE BACK ABOVE THE 200 WEEKLY MOVING AVERAGE AND WE HAVE TO CLOSE THERE.
IF WE DON'T DO THIS WE'RE IN FOR ANOTHER ROUND OF RED NEXT WEEK AND MOST LIKELY THE FOLLOWING MONTHS.

That's all, thank you.

socialist coin, not actually going to work. they forgot about the part where people actually want to make profit. sure, you can share content on a nice peer-to-peer basis. but there is no economic incentives for people to host or post content. since holofuel is not money and simply hosting power, you would still have to use current money-systems like credit card and paypall for your online transactions. The holochain devs like Art insisted on this. There is no ''money'' at the core of the holochain and holo architecture.

It's a data-integrety layer where people can pool hosting power to host whatever they want to host. it's not a bad idea. it would do a pretty good job as a global communication system, but the fatal flaw is the lack of economic incentives to participate in the system, so it will die off before even starting, or could be used for non-economic purposes by governement and institutions perhaps.

in compairason, the real bitcoin has economic incentives, IS money and has advantages over current money.

I insist on the word ''money'' here. It's very important.
