Easiest way to have a much higher quality of life is to move to country side areas where rents and house prices are one fifth of city areas while taxes on salaries are pretty much the same. That is like cutting living costs close to zero

Largest occupations are cashiers, office clerks, laborers, waitresses. There is no question cashiers will be completely automated in 5-10 years period, like 100%. That alone adds quickly 10-20% incompetent people to unemployed work force.

If you were to learn programming you can skip school altogether probably. 5-7 years of torture instead of jumping directly to a job. Helps if you know somebody with programming company. Most cs hiring is programming anyways, maybe 90%.

Economics degree is government hiring mostly, governments are broke. Banks dont hire much at all, they are laying off people now and in near future
