what a faggot, I abandoned all those people long ago. They know that if they ever asked me for money, let alone to see me, I'd say no.

Its not that we aren't buying, its that we aren't buying as much. My boomer was telling me about how he used to turn over cars after 1-2 years costing only a grand for everything. Trading in a car for one of slightly higher value now costs $5k minimum.

I'm in a position where I'm not happy with my vehicle and could probably afford to upgrade but its not really worth it. I drive a 2012 with 100k miles, it looks good and the check engine light comes on every so often, I'll probably drive it for another 4 years before seriously considering buying a new vehicle, but I'll probably be looking for a 2016 at that point as opposed to a brand new car.

So now hundreds of dealerships who were used to fucking boomers always needing a brand new car are dealing with millennials who want to buy 2-3 cars maximum in their entire lifetimes. Most dealership lots around me still have 2016 cars for sale and they can't get rid of them because of the costs. They already took a hit on scrapping some of their 2014/5 models, once they get their 2020's in they'll all be operating at an unsustainable loss. Most if not all will close and people will start demanding to buy directly from the manufacturers as the few remaining jack their prices in an attempt to stay afloat.
