This is based on analysis of previous runs in conjunction with halving events. BTC has always done a 10x from its lowest point post December crash. In this case, from $68,000 in Nov 2022 to $16,000.

To really be successful at crypto, you pretty much need to hang out in crypto groups on TG and browse /biz/ constantly looking for that next gem, don't you? Having a wagie job can take away prime time of discovering new coins. And especially if you want to get in on something right when it launches.

I want to buy a home but also retire in the next few years.

>Late 20s, 400k in crypto, ~550k NW.

with current interest rates, I'm not wanting much if any of a mortgage. I'm also feeling that my crypto holdings are pretty much sizeable lottery winnings and it's becoming more of a liability to continue holding (recession, wallet hacked, etc.)

Should I just divest from crypto entirely and pay for a home substantially in cash?

With no mortgage, feels like my cost of living would be very low and I could plow money into retirement savings. Single earning ~80k/year.

Or do I risk it and hold until I don't need to sell ALL my crypto to afford a home?
