Honestly it feels like it's a shuffling up between the five eyes, partly for show. The bullion still stays in the anglo-sphere which is ultimatley what's important going forward in the geopolitical shitstorm that's brewing.

But with the physical still in North America, you could be primed to counter a Russo-Chinese Gold-backed currency roll-out with a silver one in the West. Still clinging to that theory.
