Speaking as a gambler who traded penny stocks almost exclusively for about two years straight, I agree. Fuck penny shit indeed. It's not about the high risk. The problem is these companies are difficult to get tabs on in terms of executive competence and they are also the most vulnerable to manipulation, short attacks, insider info leaks that go unpunished etc.

To the anon who asked, I recommend either learning to trade options or play around with commodities like oil and natty gas with leverage. It's the same risk but much bigger pool to play in, lots more liquidity, the moves follow relatively predictable patterns in relation to global economic factors at the time.
