>Okay but explain what impact the soxl split will have on its price?
Not a whole lot. Splits don't affect ETFs other than to make it easier for new investors to get in. The best you can hope for is more liquidity and narrower spreads.

>SOXX is not beating S&P on the 20 year
That's where you're wrong kiddo. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index which both SOXX and SOXL are based off of has done 1400% since its inception in May of 1994. The S&P on the other hand has only done a bit less than 800%. You don't have to like SOXL but look, you lie to your friends IRL and I'll lie to mine but lets keep it real with each other on the chans.
Semiconductors have stood the test of time, they are a superior investment. Most of the software companies you mentioned in your other post are replaceable with small moats. The semi industry is probably the strongest sector in the entire economy with the best capitalized companies, the widest moats, the most compelling products, and the most obvious future path to success, i.e., keep doing what they're doing but more of it which is something nobody else can. But don't say stuff like the S&P has outperformed the semi index in the long term cuz that's a flat out lie.
