My first home was a condo purchase. I still own it. It’s much easier to rent out, since I don’t need to worry about replacing the roof or anything serious, just the occasional appliance which is like $500 max. When I lived there I had a pool and a gym and a dog park and a gopher tortoise preserve and dog poop bags. My neighbors all smoked weed and would smoke me out all the time. It cost way less than a house so I saved a ton of money, and now it makes me money. I live in a house now and prefer it for the privacy and back yard but when I upsize idk if I can cash flow the house cuz it’s old and I worry about the maintenance .
