As much as you want to call them "expired" shorts or stand up and declare the shares "cancelled" it actually doesn't mean anything. The shares were frozen by court order and no one can just magically cancel your ownership claims ESPECIALLY while CH11 is still ongoing and the plans can be amended.
I actually made this comic to show how ridiculous the whole idea is. This would be like you getting evicted from your house because some new-hire at the bank accidentally "cancelled" the deed to your house. Hey, shillies, I know you and your family have been living in your house for the last 7 years and diligently paying off your mortgage. But I hate to tell you, but the new-hire at the bank accidentally "cancelled" the deed to the house. So like, we don't actually know if you live here anymore or not. So we have to kick you out. We're sorry, but once your deed is cancelled we just have no idea anymore who lives here and who owns it. It can never be undone too for some reason. It just can't ok.
