It's a new year. In 2019 I want you to take a second and consider, are you in control of your reactions? Have you ever watched a show with someone and they keep looking at you when something funny, scary, or other reactionary event happens? Why are they doing this? Have you ever had someone act negatively toward you because you didn't react in a certain way to an event? I want you to do a practice. Anytime you have a reaction to something, stop, and ask, is this a genuine reaction. Or are you being manipulated to behave and react in a certain way to certain stimuli.

Examples:
>A funny thing comes on TV
>You laugh
Did you really find it funny?
>Someone does an offensive thing
>You're offended
But are you?

How many times do these reactionary scenario's happen each day? Probably a lot. Are your reactions real, are you in control? What happens if you don't react?
