I feel your pain anon, it's hard to try and explain or garner interest from other people, especially when you're doing so out of care for them. My old man has worked in software engineering in the financial centre his entire life, but I think in his age he has perhaps become quite stubborn, and just doesn't wish to pay it any attention. I have no reason to believe crypto won't be here in 20 years time and I've made so much more wealth from learning about it than anything else out there.
It's gotten to a point where I am pretending I am in financial difficulty to get money from my parents, so I can invest it on their behalf.
My dad earns well but it all goes into stock ISA's that I fear will ultimately destroy his wealth in the next few years.

Ultimately it's not worth trying to tell these people about it. Some might see the gains but you have to tell them to learn themselves, spoon feeding is too time consuming
