I haven't seen this mentioned here yet. Factom and Smartcontract.com working together to make all Factom data available through Chainlink nodes. This was officially announced in July, 2016, so it's old, but I found some interesting related stuff below. First, here's a link to the Factom announcement:

https://www.factom.com/blog/smartcontract-factom-announce-collaboration

This next part is where things get crazy. In June of this year, the Department of Homeland Security announced that it funded Factom to develop IoT blockchain technology to assist Border Patrol agents in real life situations. Here's a link and a quote from the page:

https://www.dhs.gov/science-and-technology/news/2018/06/15/news-release-dhs-awards-austin-based-factom-inc-192k

>The final phase of the SVIP project will see Factom testing its capability in an outside environment with limited internet connectivity and in varied weather conditions to mimic the conditions under which U.S. Border Patrol agents operate. Factom’s goal is to demonstrate how IoT devices can maintain a high standard of reliability while eliminating the ability to spoof, modify or disrupt data from ground sensors and cameras. The end objective is to produce a commercially viable product ready to enter the market.

Chainlink is going to be offering this data as well. What does this mean for Chainlink? Smart anons do some digging where I left off. Let's see how deep this rabbit hole goes.

A 5% loss of satoshi or fiat value means nothing to me, but 5% loss of Link tokens is unacceptable. I'll swing trade hyped up shitcoins just based on TA without even looking into what they are, but I don't swing trade Link.
