thought you guys would appreciate this. it's an '87 double florin. also known as the "barmaids ruin" as it's very similar in dimensions to a crown coin and often would be get confused. They were only minted between 87 and 90 and never circulated well, because of this they kind of got forgotten during the decimalisation and weren't mentioned in the demonetization legislation so it still remains legal tender today. Unfortunately this one has been polished up but it is still a nice example and I got it well below spot.
