This current price movement is entirely hype-driven, the inherent present-day value of a LINK token hasn't changed since when you could buy it for $0.50 three months ago. It can't be staked, collateralized, or anything at the present moment. There will probably be a slow but dramatic retracement over the course of July on the order of -50% when people realize this. I seriously wish it would go straight up to $1000 but it is not realistic.

September seems to be the new accumulation point for rumor and hype, it'll be about the time when the Oracle startups are getting revealed and onboarded, and the PSD2 shit in Europe will be coming to a head then as well. So I expect another mini-moon mission then, and then another blowoff when people realize they had unrealistic expectations of the project.

After settling down from September hype I expect LINK to stay quiet and just ride the crypto waves the rest of the year and into 2020. Sometime in 2020, the paradise vision of LINK that we all have in our heads of a fully decentralized marketplace for data with fully functioning NEET nodes with reputation, staking and collateral will come to life finally. And price will begin to reflect real value of the token rather than speculative hype. So as the network grows and more operators and customers onboard, there will be a slow and sustainable growth with minimal pullbacks through the remainder of 2020 and 2021.

We might hit multi-$100 valuation in 2022 sometime. My best guess. And there could always be another black swan like the Google article drop that totally invalidates this whole timeline.

I literally had a dream the other night where I was running through the sewers and tripped, landing facedown in sewage water that I could literally taste the shit in. When I pulled myself up out of the shit water, I saw I lost a few things. One of those things was the chainlink logo.
