How can I assess said volume, and whether it is notably high or low for the opening bell? Just take a guess based on how quickly the volume rises in comparison to the 10 day average volume?

I'm using Schwab and while I'm getting more accustomed to their tools. I'm also getting tired of their tools. The new home "Trading Source" window seems nifty, but I don't know where to find a lot of things.
