Is there something analogous to a passively managed ETF that invests into various cryptocurrencies weighted by market capitalization? I want to get some exposure to the entire crypto market in the most diverse but easiest way possible.

Recent investors in Bitcoin are late to the party. Although the value of Bitcoin should continue to increase (why not?) don't think you're part of the first wave of investors.
> Case in point: "The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin" (2014) docos the first wave of Bitcoin investors. The Alt Coin market, on the other hand, could be considered to be brand new considering most groups have no working product or are in the alpha stages of development.
New investors may consider themselves part of the alt coin revolution but I would not consider anything past the end of 2014 to be part of the first wave. I first heard about Bitcoin in 2012 when the price was about $5 and Silk Road was alive, what about you? Feel free to discuss any of the above points.

Retard here

Is there any way to purchase ETH/LTC on Coinbase using BTC instead of USD? The reason I ask is I was going to start messing around with Altcoins in Bittrex and it seems as though you can't trade with USD on that platform. For that reason it seemed like my best option would be to start off with my 5k USD limit on Coinbase into Bitcoin only for higher liquidity

Crypto noob here looking to invest.

According to a mining calculator, if I use an antminer s9 for BTC, an antminer L3+ for LTC and something to mine ETH with, I can make about $20k+ of crypto a year, at current prices.

I don't pay for electricity and won't pay for it for the foreseeable future.

Does this sound about right? Seems too good to be true.

Bitcoin is getting Turing complete smart contracts by the end of this year, which will allow for:
1.Off-chain micro transactions to drop Bitcoin transaction fees to ≈ zero.
2.All the usefulness of Ethereum (including token creation)
3.True mass adoption

You better pucker up your anus, Satoshi is going on a rape fest soon.
