The western/European approach was fairly mixed.
Germany has enough ICU beds and manages well, The UK tried to ignore the issue until it was too late, Bavaria banned every single meeting between people not related or fucking each other and Spain locked down Madrid two days after every single person went to their second house/family in the countryside, Sevilla or Bilbao.
Italy has a mix of old people and a run down medical system. Even lock downs couldnt fix these problems apparently.

Now we go to the US and it just seems like a cluster fuck. Old and sick people and the reaction seems to pray away the gay and hope for the best.
But surely there must be some kind of response, no? The US can not be that woefully unprepared, right?
