Because most people here have what we call a cumbrain.

The symptoms are :
- a short attention span
- a need to pursue high reward/low effort activities. (Dopamine hits)

The causes are:
-porn
-the pursuing of low effort/high reward activities (which then feed the need to consume more) like YouTube, videogames, etc

The cure is:
-force yourself to stop doing those activities
-concentrate on tasks that take time, like reading a book, or watching a movie from start to finish without interruption.
