>Should just keep your investment money in a 5%+ short-term treasury or money market in the mean time.
Good advice anon. I have about 80% of my TFSA in CASH.TO right now.
What are your thoughts on holding a precious metal ETF as opposed to physical Gold/Silver?
I like your overall takes and do agree that growth is the most important thing for a younger investor with a long time horizon.

>My taxed account is 50% short term TBills paying 4-5% and 50% companies in industries that I like.
Out of curiosity why do you choose to hold the TBills in your taxed account?
>I don't like indexfagging as there's a lot of crap companies in there that I hate, so I just buy the ones that I like and cut the trash.
I do agree there is a lot of bloat within the overall index but you will definitely need higher capital requirements to be able to make the fees sensible to trade all those addition companies to form your own mini index.
>I won't buy ADRs
Are you concerned with the possibility of double taxation, etc?

Crypto currency is so mainstream now that if you said you earn a living trading it nobody would look at you funny. I asked my boomer parents for money to invest in a shitcoin and they were all onboard because they’d heard of the doge millionaire. It’s not 2013 anymore /biz/.
