it's called medicare and medicaid. contrary to what the (((US media))) and (((politicians))) would have you believe, the US actually has a public healthcare option and it has forever. it just sucks and no one likes it because anything the government touches turns to shit. Drs don't get reimbursed at fair rates like they do with evil mean private insurance so they don't want to accept medicare patients, etc.
