So here's the situation -- I wasn't eligible for any federal aid for like two years because my dad made too much according to the irs. I lived in an expensive area rent wise and so it just kinda burned me up. Honestly not much I could do there except take out big loans via sallie mae.

And my dad died a few months after I consolidated the plus loans into my name to take some pressure off him. So that sucks. It's more like 68k now though I don't remember the exact balance. Mechanical engineer though and I do alright for myself I just kinda don't make enough and hate my job
