Came to type this, I was pressured into the uni / work life path. Made to feel worthless when I was searching for jobs with no luck and felt too depressed to try anything on my own.
Stupidly wage slaving and earning some financial freedom allowed me to see the bullshit for what it is and my mental turned.
At some point I found this place and started dipping my toes in, 5% of my savings, then more. I haven't made it by any measure but am on my way.
I still wage slave, but it is WFH in these times with a very comfy lifestyle. I still want to work for myself eventually, or simply make it.

I am open to all forms to literature and education in regards to escaping. It's all I knew, it's all I was raised to know, my whole fucking psych was built around it. I got close to ending it all when I realised all those years studying a useless degree were thrown away, yet no one cared. Assumed I was a deadbeat loser etc.
