Early adopters. Just because people have "heard" of Bitcorns doesn't mean its been adopted.

Bitcoin isn't a company with a flashy product. It's an open source project developed by academics and the goal is a complete re-invention of the global financial system. That means the target market is not a niche - it's the totality. Too many people here are stuck in the proprietary business paradigm. That being said, some cryptos are absolutely run like a penny stock.

Thanks to Blockstream, soon we will have satellite streamed and radio-transmitted blocks.

With Core, the Bitcoin network becomes the AK-47: Resilient as hell and fucking everywhere. Impossible for attackers or natural disasters to take down the network because nodes are proliferate and easy to set-up AND you won't need an internet connection, you'll be able to use satellite and radio.

5k
60k

The process of accumulation has been over 5 years though. I started buying bitcoin in early 2012 and continued buying during the bear market after the 2013 bubble popped. So I've put in about 5k in usd and my btc is worth 60k now.

They won't be moving. They will receive more money from the main chain due to BTC's higher price, which is due to its greater utility because of Segwit and because the block's take up less storage.

The BCC "flippening" is FUD by bagholders. The majority of nodes and users do not want a centralized ChinaCoin with a less competent team of developers and the antics of the likes of Craig Wright, Mike Hernia, Gavin, and Roger Ver who have shown themselves to be untrustworthy.
